Nov 14, 2024

In order to help students clarify their learning goals and enrich their university life, on November 11th, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering held a face-to-face activity with tutors (head teachers) in the conference room of Linjiang Building. The theme of this activity was academic guidance and career planning. Ma Yue, the head teacher of Class 2, 24 Telecommunications class, was the keynote speaker. The instructor Zhang Weidong and the whole class participated in the activity.

Before the activity began, Ma Yue used a relaxed and witty opening to close the distance with her classmates and encouraged them to share their learning and life experiences freely. During the event, Ma Yue shared her university learning experience from three aspects: the importance of university studies, learning methods, and competition and scientific research. In particular, she stressed that learning should come first while participating in various university activities. She suggested that students could enhance their competitiveness by participating in discipline competitions, reading or writing academic papers, and actively interacting with their tutors. Ma Yue also shared her college life experience from two aspects of "maintaining a good attitude and improving anti-fraud awareness", stressing that college life should make friends widely, communicate with classmates, tutors or counselors when encountering difficulties, and maintain physical and mental health.

This activity not only narrowed the distance between teachers and students again, but also provided valuable guidance for students in their future university life, and provided great help for students to clarify their future learning goals and optimize their learning methods.
