In order to guide 2024 freshmen to establish a good spiritual style and create a civilized and harmonious campus culture atmosphere, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering held a "Freshmen civilization etiquette training" activity at the Red Post of Wenyuan Community on October 24. This activity relies on the "Sanmei Workshop" of the college, and is taught by the college counselor Yang Ying. Students from all classes of Grade 2024 participate in the learning.
First of all, Yang Ying elaborated from the aspects of campus etiquette, classroom etiquette and dormitory etiquette, and emphasized the following aspects: on campus, students should uphold the heart of respect and listen to the teachings in the process of getting along with teachers; In the classroom, students must abide by the discipline, to create a positive learning atmosphere; In the dormitory, students should pay close attention to health issues, properly handle interpersonal relations, and build a harmonious and warm dormitory living environment.
After that, Yang Ying told the students about their personal appearance and dress etiquette norms, and corrected the mistakes that college students may have in dressing in campus daily life, large events, interviews and other occasions. Yang Ying explained in detail the daily makeup of girls and the daily hairstyle of boys, and provided practical suggestions for students.
In the final stage of the course, Yang Ying guided the students on how to standardize their words and behaviors, such as handshake etiquette, welcome etiquette, and etiquette for introducing others through interactive simulation. Yang Ying guided the students by hand, so that the students mastered the practical knowledge of etiquette in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Yang Ying made a summary of this activity. She pointed out that etiquette training deeply reflects three core values: first, through the reconstruction of self-image, it promotes the internal growth and self-identity of individuals; Second, maintaining good etiquette can improve the happiness of daily learning, so as to obtain satisfaction and happiness at the psychological level. Third, appropriate clothing becomes a silent business card, which strengthens its competitive advantage and lays the foundation for success for every opportunity. After the etiquette training activity, the student representatives of each class of Grade 24 took the initiative to carry out the etiquette training within the class, and some undergraduates of Grade 22 and 23 also joined the training activity.
This training not only improves the students' dressing and makeup skills, but also cultivates the students' self-image awareness and the comprehensive quality of civilized etiquette. Students who participated in the training said that the study of this course has made them have a deeper understanding of the appearance and appearance they should have in daily life and formal occasions, and know how to better shape their image and show their mental outlook.
