In order to further cultivate students' practical ability and understand their professional skills, the "Beidou Stars" electronic Technology Competition and its pre-competition training, sponsored by the Science and Technology Association of the Institute of Telecommunications and undertaken by the Electronics Department, were successfully held on March 16. 100 students from freshmen to juniors participated in the competition and training. Relying on the China Association for Science and Technology "Soaring wings" college students science and technology volunteer service project, this activity aims to lay a foundation for students to learn subsequent courses and realize the combination of theory and practice.
This competition is not only for sophomores and juniors with relatively mature welding technology, but also for freshmen who are in contact with welding for the first time. The Electronics Department held a pre-competition training on the morning of March 16, and the department members gave explanations to help freshmen understand the usage of welding tools, the requirements of material welding and the purpose of each original part. At the same time, the safety of the laboratory was emphasized, especially the correct use of welding tools and the treatment of injuries. During the training process, the students listened carefully and asked questions actively afterwards, which achieved good training results. In the training, everyone was eager to try, and every student present was looking forward to the competition that afternoon.
On the afternoon of March 16, the electronic technology competition kicked off. 100 students from freshmen to juniors were divided into basic group and improvement group to compete. During the event, each player picks up a welding tool and immerses himself in his design. Some students skillfully, skillfully operating the torch, quickly completed the circuit board welding; Some students are passionate, fast and decisive when welding, showing a strong desire to win and sense of competition; There are also some students who are more cautious and meticulous to check every solder joint to ensure the quality of the circuit board.
The atmosphere of the competition was intense and focused. Each competitor was immersed in his or her work, staring intently at the circuit board, holding the torch and soldering wholeheartedly. Halfway through the race, the circuit board gradually took on a complete outline, and the soldering spots shimmered with a faint silver light. The staff also provide necessary help to prevent the safety risks during the competition. It took two hours, and all the contestants finished the race successfully.
The judges uphold the principle of fairness, fairness and openness, and perform functional testing on the completed works one by one. According to multiple evaluation standards such as "functional integrity", "welding aesthetics" and "information integrity", the judges combine the finished products and test results of each contestant to score. In the final comprehensive evaluation, the first, second, third prize and excellence award of each group were selected. All the entries were photographed and retained.
This electronic technology competition is not only a competition, but also a learning and growth process. It stimulates students' enthusiasm for learning, cultivates students' practical ability, promotes cooperation and exchange between students, and stimulates students' love and pursuit of professional knowledge.
