Expert Profile:
Wang Yao is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, and a young and middle-aged academic leader of "333 High-level Talents Training Project" in Jiangsu Province. Doctor of Jilin University, postdoctoral fellow of Nankai University. Currently, he is an expert on the EXAMINATION and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching of the Ministry of Education, an expert on the communication evaluation of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the vice president of the Educational Mathematics Committee of the China Higher Education Association, and the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Jiangsu Mathematical Society. He has published more than 160 academic papers and 3 books in domestic and foreign journals. He has trained 40 post-doctoral and master students and won the Zeng Xianzi Education Fund Teacher Award of the State Education Commission.
Summary of report:
"Teachers should be 'big Mister' in shaping students' character, conduct and taste". The report points out that teachers' teaching is divided into three levels, and doing a good job in curriculum ideological and political education is the necessary embodiment of implementing the first-class curriculum of "gender equality". Aiming at the problems of "what position, what meaning, what dimension, what fear, and what" of ideological and political education in the curriculum, this paper makes an in-depth explanation of the connotation, extension and significance of the concepts of ideological and political education in the curriculum, and analyzes the common problems in teaching, such as "knowledge" lacking "knowledge", emphasizing "work" over "strength", emphasizing "show" over "hidden", emphasizing "class" over "process", emphasizing "teaching" over "education". It is proposed that doing a good job in curriculum ideological and political education should return to the original mission of education, teachers should strengthen teaching academic, carry out the "four improvements", and enrich the subject culture. Some cases of how to mine ideological and political elements in relevant courses and properly integrate them into teaching are given, and the enlightenment of ideas and methods for teachers is given.
