About the Speaker:

Professor Chen Songcan is a professor (Level 2) of the School of Computer/School of Software, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Government special experts. International Society for Pattern Recognition (IAPR Fellow) and Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI Fellow). More than 300 papers have been published and Google Scholar has cited more than 19770 times with H-index 66. From 2014 to 2023, he was selected to Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar List for 10 consecutive years. He is currently the director of the Machine Learning Committee of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society, the executive director of the Chinese Artificial Intelligence Society, and the second president of the Jiangsu Province Artificial Intelligence Society. In 2011 and 2013, he won the first prize of the Ministry of Education of Natural Science and the second prize of the National Natural Science (ranking 2/5). It has trained 43 doctoral students, 7 of whom have been awarded the Excellent PhD of Jiangsu Province, and 2 of whom have been nominated for the national 100 Excellent PhD papers. In 2018, he was selected as the first "Top Ten Graduate Tutor Team" of Jiangsu Province.
