In accordance with the spirit of documents such as the "Charter for Recruiting Recommended Exempted Postgraduate Students of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology in 2025", the "Guiding Opinions on the Re-examination and Admission of Recommended Exempted Postgraduate Students of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology in 2025", and the "Notice of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology on Recruiting Outstanding Undergraduate Graduates of the 2025 Session for Direct Admission to Doctoral Degrees by Recommendation without Written Examination", and in combination with the actual situation of the college, the following measures for the re-examination and admission of recommended exempted postgraduate students of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering in 2025 are formulated.

I. Admission conditions

1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have good political and ideological performance, good moral character, be honest and abide by the law, be in good physical and mental health, meet the requirements of the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment in Colleges and Universities", and be willing to serve the construction of the motherland.

2. Have good performance in all aspects during school, excellent grades over the years, solid foundation, strong self-learning ability, practical ability and innovation ability, and strong interest in academic research.

3. Be an outstanding undergraduate graduate from a university with the qualification for recommendation for exemption. Be able to obtain the qualification for recommendation for exemption from the alma mater.

4. Have a correct academic attitude and no records of cheating, plagiarizing others' academic achievements or other violations of laws and disciplines and being punished.

For direct admission to doctoral degree by recommendation without written examination, the following conditions must also be met:

1. Foreign language proficiency must meet one of the following conditions: a score of 425 or above in CET-6, or 80 or above in TOEFL (including 80), or 6 or above in IELTS (including 6), or 60 or above in PETS-5, or having published an English article as the first author.

2. Those who have published papers in core or above academic journals at the undergraduate stage, won provincial or above awards in various discipline competitions or comprehensive competitions, or won awards or performed outstandingly in scientific and technological activities may be given priority under the same conditions.

The recommended exempted postgraduate students admitted will occupy the enrollment quota of the college in 2025. In principle, the number of admitted master's degree students recommended for exemption shall not exceed 50% of the full-time master's degree enrollment plan of the college in 2025; the number of admitted doctoral students recommended for exemption directly without written examination shall not exceed 20% of the doctoral enrollment plan of the college in 2025.

III. Re-examination methods and procedures for recommended exempted postgraduate students

1. Applicants need to submit the following materials:

- One copy of the student ID card and one copy of the ID card.

- One copy of the national foreign language test score or qualification certificate.

- One copy of the undergraduate transcript, which requires the official seal of the academic affairs office of the university (original red seal).

- One copy of the "Ideological and Moral Assessment Form for Postgraduate Applicants of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology" (Annex 1), which requires the official seal of the college (original red seal).

- The "Re-examination Application Form for Recommended Exempted Master's Degree Postgraduate Students of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology in 2025" (Annex 2) or the "Application Form for Direct Admission to Doctoral Degree for Outstanding Undergraduate Graduates Recruited by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology" (Annex 3).

- For those who have published academic papers, won award certificates or other high-level scientific research achievements publicly, provide one copy of the achievement certification materials.

For direct admission to doctoral degree by recommendation without written examination, two copies of the "Expert Recommendation Letter for Direct Admission to Doctoral Degree for Outstanding Undergraduate Graduates Recruited by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology" (Annex 4) are also required (recommended by two professors or experts with equivalent professional titles in relevant disciplines respectively).

Deadline for collecting materials: Our college will review the application information in batches. Based on the principle of first application, first review and first re-examination, and select the best. The deadline for submitting materials for the first batch is before September 28. After the national recommendation exemption system for postgraduate admission (without written examination and transfer stage) information disclosure and management service system (hereinafter referred to as the "national recommendation exemption system") is opened, applications will continue to be received, and re-examination and admission notices will be sent to qualified candidates through the "national recommendation exemption system". The deadline for receiving applications is determined according to the closing time of the recommendation exemption system.

2. The college will set up a working group for receiving recommended exempted postgraduate students to review the qualifications of applicants.

3. The re-examination method for recommended exempted postgraduate students is online interview.

- The interview is conducted by an interview assessment group composed of no less than five teachers with associate professor title or above or with doctoral degree, who are responsible for interview question formulation and assessment of applicants.

- The interview mainly examines the applicant's professional basic knowledge and ability to solve practical problems with learned knowledge, and pays attention to the assessment of their innovation spirit, innovation ability and foreign language proficiency. The full score is 100 points. The calculation method of interview scores is to take the average after removing one highest score and one lowest score, and the result is reserved to three decimal places.

- The specific time and method of the re-examination will be notified separately. When applicants participate in the re-examination, please bring valid certificates (student ID card or ID card) and report on time according to the specified time. Those who fail to report on time will be regarded as automatically giving up the re-examination qualification.

4. Determine the list of recommended exempted postgraduate students to be admitted.

The college will rank according to the re-examination scores and determine the list of recommended exempted postgraduate students to be admitted, and report it to the Graduate School for review.

5. Starting from September 28, recommended exempted postgraduate students who have passed the re-examination of our college must log in to the national recommendation exemption system (https://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm/) and fill in relevant volunteers according to the majors that have passed the re-examination. The first applicant will be given priority for confirmation until the quota is full. Recommended exempted postgraduate students can only confirm the admission notice of one enrollment unit in the national recommendation exemption system. Once confirmed, it cannot be changed casually. Our university will issue re-examination notices and admission notices successively in the national recommendation exemption system. Recommended exempted postgraduate students who have passed the re-examination assessment and are to be admitted will, after receiving the "admission pending" notice sent by our university on the postgraduate enrollment website, click to confirm "agree to admission" within the specified time to lock the admission status. Otherwise, the admission qualification will be cancelled.
