Training requirementsStudents of this major mainly learn the basic theories and basic knowledge in the fields of optoelectronics, microelectronics and physical electronics, receive basic training in related experimental technology and computer application technology, master professional knowledge of electronic science and technology, and have the ability to engage in the research, design and application development of materials, devices, processes and systems in this field.

Main subjectElectronic Science and Technology

Main courses: Electronic circuits, Signals and Systems, C language programming, Principles of Microcomputer and Interface Technology, solid State physics and semiconductor physics, engineering optics, Principles of optoelectronics, fundamentals of microelectronic devices, basic experiments of microelectronics, principles of sensors, principles and applications of single chip computers, optoelectronic system design, etc. The curriculum system consists of public basic courses, subject basic courses and professional courses. Specialties: Introduction to atmospheric optics, principles of radar, maintenance technology of automatic weather station, atmospheric radiation and laser detection, etc.

Main practical teaching links: electronic process practice, electronic circuit experiment, computer language and programming practice, course design, production practice, graduation design, etc.

Main professional practices: electronic circuit experiment, optoelectronic technology experiment, laser monitoring technology experiment, microelectronics basic experiment, microelectronics process experiment.

Students can pursue master's and doctoral degrees in electronic science and technology, information and communication engineering, optical engineering, instrument science and technology, and professional master's degrees in electronic and communication engineering, optical engineering and other fields.

The employment direction of students is mainly engaged in technology, scientific research, teaching or administrative management in scientific research institutes, educational units, electronic communications, instrument manufacturing and other enterprises and institutions.
